It seems that everything is getting smaller these days. Yorkshire terriers can fit in the palm of your hand; thus, they are given the name Teacup. You have to be careful with a small dog. They are hard to spot, and can get hurt if stepped on.
The Teacup Yorkshire terrier weighs about seven pounds. Because they are so tiny, it’s best to have the dog(s) in a playpen for their own safety.
Of all the breeds, the Yorkshire is the most loving and loyal. Regardless of their size, the Yorkshire terrier teacup will bark like crazy if anyone infringes on their territory. And they are very protective of their humans.
The Yorkshire terrier teacup is easy to train. The breed requires a lot of attention though so if you don’t have the time to devote to them, don’t purchase one.
