Reversing Heart Disease

Heart disease is a condition that affects thousands of Americans each year. In fact, it is the leading cause of death in the United States for both men and women. There are many factors that contribute to heart disease, such as, stress, obesity, diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Fortunately, heart disease can be reversed by eating foods that are plant-based and oil free.

In addition to eating good foods, exercise will also reverse heart disease. Exercise keeps blood circulating properly, and helps to build a strong heart. Your heart and body will benefit from the results that exercise provides. By getting your heart to pump faster, you'll get the oxygen flowing which will help you breathe.

Exercising will replace fat with muscle. A monitoring device will keep track of your heart's
condition.
Walking instead of driving your car will benefit your heart. Complement your cardiovascular workout with weight lifting. Toning your muscles will improve your health faster than an aerobic exercise. Bruce Lee became strong quickly when applied isometrics to his training.

Taking supplements, such as, an anti-oxidant will significantly reverse heart disease. Foods that contribute to a beneficial diet include carrots, squash, low-sugar cereals, fat free milk, salmon, whole wheat bread, and fresh fruit.

Taking care of your heart is necessary. If your heart is not working properly, there is no way that the rest of your body can function the way it should. Prevention is the smartest way to go about living your life.
