Of all the sports, going on a hike is the least expensive. You do need, however, sturdy shoes and socks, which will keep the moisture away from your feet. Also, it’s important on a hike to have with you water and snacks, which you can carry in a backpack.
An optional accessory to take with you on a hike is a hiking stick. The stick will especially come in handy when you start to get tired. You can find handcrafted, beautifully designed hiking sticks in stores. You may have to do some searching, however, rural stores in the mountains may carry them.
